IQ Home wireless Modbus RTU masters connect standard Modbus RTU slave devices to an IQ Home gateway without long RS-485 cable runs between every device and the control system. Models are available for 230 V AC or 24 V DC supply and in first- and second-generation versions.

Selection guidance

Choose the supply voltage to match the installation and verify whether a first-generation MB-RTU-01 or second-generation MB-RTU-G2 model is required for the existing system. The Modbus baud rate, parity and slave settings must match the connected devices.

Integration

The wireless master is read through an IQ Home gateway or compatible IQRF-DPA infrastructure. Data can then be made available to a PLC, monitoring software or a cloud platform, depending on the system configuration.
