Socomec Energy Meters

Socomec Energy Meters
When energy matters

From design to commissioning, Socomec’s MID-certified COUNTIS P range for AC and DC delivers compliant, accurate metering for buildings, infrastructure, industry, and charging stations—helping you cut kWh, costs, and environmental impact while simplifying sub-billing. From design to commissioning, Socomec’s MID-certified COUNTIS P range (AC & DC) ensures compliant, accurate metering for buildings, infrastructure, industry, and charging—helping cut kWh, costs, and environmental impact while simplifying sub-billing. Selected models add options like QuickConnect multi-load monitoring, RS485/M-BUS communication, and WEBVIEW integration for streamlined setup and clear, remote insights.

Single or three phase

Socomec’s COUNTIS P range covers it all—compact single-phase meters (direct up to 100 A) and robust three-phase meters (direct 80/100 A or via CTs, QuickConnect blocks, or Rogowski coils), with a DC variant using shunts for high currents.

MID approved

All Socomec COUNTIS P energy meters are MID-certified (EN 50470, modules B+D), ensuring billing-grade accuracy and compliance with Measuring Instruments Directive 2014/32/EU for trusted sub-billing.

Energy measurement

Socomec COUNTIS P energy meters pair billing-grade active energy accuracy (IEC 62053-21 Class 1 / EN 50470 Class B) with an extended operating range of –40 °C to +70 °C.

Bi-directional

COUNTIS P supports total/partial bi-directional metering—storing forward (import) and reverse (export) active, reactive, and apparent energy in separate registers, with selectable calculation modes for accurate totals and sub-billing.

Instantaneous values

COUNTIS P meters display real-time voltage, current, active/reactive/apparent power, frequency, and power factor on the LCD; selected models also provide these measurements via communication (pulse outputs, RS485/Modbus RTU or M-Bus, and gateway-enabled Ethernet) for monitoring and analysis.

Modbus Communication

Selected COUNTIS P models offer RS485 (Modbus RTU) for seamless system integration, with variants available in M-BUS; meters include configurable pulse outputs, and setup is simplified via Easy Config/System gateways.
